Ian is a founder of Ciraterra. Ian works with mining, energy and infrastructure clients on major project business cases and program delivery. Ian has worked on several program governance assignments for clients, including the electricity energy transition (transmission/wind/solar/BESS), the decarbonisation of operations for a major iron ore miner and alumina refinery, and the commercial strategy structure and contract negotiations for an EPCM contract engagement for a $1.5b novel technology project. Ian is experienced in minerals and energy processing including alumina refineries, metal sulphide concentrators and lateritic nickel plants, iron ore mining and processing, gold mining and processing, LNG export jetties and processing, and coal mining/mine mouth power stations. He is experienced in the rehabilitation of contaminated sites from mining, and industrial operations.
Ian has over 40 years of executive experience in many roles including Board Director, Managing Director, General Manager experience in multiple businesses, Project Director, Project Manager and Engineering Manager across multiple projects working with both small and large project delivery (>$500m to $4b). Ian has global mega project EPC and EPCM experience in energy, natural resources and large-scale social infrastructure.


Mark is a senior chartered accountant and qualified lawyer with over 15 years of transactional experience, with a particular focus on private capital and natural resources. Mark has advised on some of the highest profile and most challenging transactions in Australia, supporting some of the largest financial investors globally.
Mark is highly regarded for his practical approach to solving complex commercial problems, particularly within sensitive revenue law and legal frameworks.
